Plantago major 'Rosularis' (Rosette Plantain) Overview

Plantago major 'Rosularis,' commonly known as Rosette Plantain, is an ornamental variety of the common plantain. It is unique for its densely packed, greenish, flower-like rosettes that form at the ends of its flower spikes, giving it a distinctive and decorative appearance. The foliage consists of broad, glossy, dark green leaves that grow in a low rosette form. This unusual plant is valued for its texture and structure in gardens.

Plantago major 'Rosularis' thrives in well-drained, moderately fertile soils and is highly adaptable to a range of conditions, including poor or compacted soils.
