Hemerocallis-Daylily 'Daria'

Hemerocallis 'Daria', commonly known as the Daria Daylily, is a semi-evergreen perennial celebrated for its vibrant blooms and reliable reblooming habit.

'Daria' features striking purple flowers with heavily ruffled golden edges and a greenish-yellow throat. Each bloom measures approximately 7 inches (17 cm) in diameter, making it a standout addition to any garden. 

This daylily is hardy in USDA Zones 3 through 9, making it suitable for a wide range of climates. It prefers average, moist but well-drained soils and is tolerant of heat and summer humidity. 'Daria' is also drought-tolerant once established and resistant to deer and rabbits, adding to its low-maintenance appeal. Sun Requirements:

Full sun to partial shade, with optimal flowering occurring in locations that receive at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. While it can tolerate some shade, full sun exposure promotes the best bloom performance. 

Maximum Growth Height:

22 inches (56 cm) with a spread of 20 to 24 inches (50 to 60 cm), forming a compact, clump-forming habit suitable for borders, mass plantings, and containers. 

Bloom Time:

Late June to mid-July, with the potential for reblooming later in the season, providing an extended display of vibrant color during the growing season.
