Euthamia graminifolia, commonly known as Grass-Leaved Goldenrod, is a clump-forming perennial native to North America. It features slender, grass-like green leaves and produces flat-topped clusters of small, bright yellow flowers at the tips of its stems. These vibrant blooms provide late-season color and are an important nectar source for pollinators. Its upright and airy form adds a naturalistic touch to meadows, borders, and wildflower gardens.
Euthamia graminifolia thrives in well-drained to moist soils and is drought-tolerant once established. It is highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects, making it a valuable addition to pollinator-friendly gardens. The plant is resistant to deer and rabbits and works well in naturalized areas, rain gardens, or along pond edges. Minimal maintenance is required, and it can self-seed moderately under favorable conditions, contributing to its appeal in wildflower meadows.
