Erigeron pulchellus 'Robin's Plantain,' commonly known as Robin's Plantain Fleabane, is a perennial with a dense mat of narrow, lance-shaped green leaves. It produces dainty, daisy-like flowers with pale lavender to pink petals and bright yellow centers, creating a charming, airy look in garden beds. The plant has a low, spreading habit, making it an excellent ground cover or border plant for woodland gardens or naturalized areas.
Erigeron pulchellus 'Robin's Plantain' thrives in well-drained, moderately fertile soil and is relatively drought-tolerant once established. It is ideal for shady to partially shaded areas but also does well in full sun if given sufficient moisture. It is a great plant for attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Its charming flowers and ground-hugging growth make it perfect for rock gardens, woodland edges, and naturalized gardens. Regular deadheading can help maintain a tidy appearance and encourage additional blooms.
