Leucanthemum x superbum ‘Silver Princess’, commonly known as Dwarf Shasta Daisy Silver Princess, is a compact herbaceous perennial that produces classic white, daisy-like flowers with bright golden yellow centers. The flowers are held on sturdy, upright stems above neat clumps of dark green, lance-shaped foliage, creating a fresh and cheerful appearance in the garden. Blooming in summer, this plant adds clean color, charm, and reliable seasonal interest to borders, edging, containers, cottage gardens, or sunny perennial beds.
Thrives in well-drained soil with medium moisture. Avoid planting in heavy, waterlogged conditions. Requires minimal maintenance once established and performs best with good air circulation. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage a tidier appearance and prolong flowering. Divide clumps every few years to maintain vigour. Pairs well with salvia, nepeta, coreopsis, and ornamental grasses for a bright, colourful garden display. Attracts bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects. Generally avoided by deer and rabbits. Excellent for borders, edging, containers, cottage-style landscapes, mass plantings, or cut flower arrangements.
