Antennaria dioica 'Rubra,' commonly known as Red Mountain Everlasting or Red Pussytoes, is a mat-forming perennial ground cover with silvery-gray, woolly foliage that forms a dense carpet. This variety is particularly striking for its small, button-like flowers that range from rosy-pink to deep red, appearing on slender stems above the foliage. Its compact growth and drought tolerance make it an excellent choice for rock gardens, borders, or dry, sunny slopes.

Full Sun to Light Shade. Prefers full sun for the best flowering and growth but tolerates light shade, particularly in hot climates.
Maximum Growth Height:
4–6 inches (10–15 cm), with a spread of about 12–18 inches (30–45 cm), forming a low-growing, dense mat.
Bloom Month:
May to June. Blooms in late spring to early summer, providing vibrant splashes of red and pink in the garden.
